There has been a good deal of discussion about the security implications of including information on living individuals on genealogical websites. Potential concerns are twofold. Firstly, there are simple issues of privacy associated with birthdates, adoption, etc. Secondly, there is risk that published information may assist in identity theft.
We believe that living individuals have the right to privacy. Therefore, this Bigg-Wither website is a member only site and only registered family members can access the information that pertains to the living contained on this site.
Accordingly the public area of this site does not contain any details, of any living members or of their families whatsoever.
Family members may request a Login ID and a Password which will enable them to see the names of living individuals within the tree. Please contact us, or register and your registration will be reviewed by our staff of Admin.
If you notice any personal information on this site regarding living individuals, please contact us and we will remove it.
Rest assured that under no circumstances would we ever pass on any email addresses or other personal details to third parties. |
